Keep your aquarium clean, oxygenated and biologically balanced with the Bluepet XF-230 Bio-Sponge Filter.
The XF-230 uses a dual-sponge filtration system to provide mechanical and biological filtration while maintaining gentle water movement. Its large sponge surfaces provide space for beneficial bacteria to colonize, while the air-driven design helps improve oxygenation.
Because it doesn't use a motor or impeller, the filter is particularly suitable for breeding tanks, fry tanks, shrimp aquariums, betta tanks and community aquariums where strong water flow can be undesirable.
Key Benefits
- 🧽 Dual Bio-Sponge Filtration – Increased surface area for beneficial bacteria
- 💧 Mechanical + Biological Filtration – Helps trap debris while supporting biological filtration
- 🌬️ Air-Driven Operation – Requires an external air pump
- 🐟 Gentle Water Flow – Suitable for fry, shrimp and delicate fish
- 🫧 Improves Oxygenation – Continuous bubbles help promote gas exchange
- 🔇 Quiet Operation – No motor or impeller inside the filter
- 🔄 Reusable Sponges – Easy to remove, clean and reuse
- 🔧 Adjustable Outlet – Allows you to direct the water/bubble flow
